When I came across this Tracy Reese Windy City Tunic from her Plenty collection, I immediately pictured myself throwing it on with a pair of skinny jeans for a chic fall look. The soft jersey fabric makes this tunic ultra comfortable (and trust me, if you don’t have any jersey pieces in your wardrobe you’re missing out on a whole lotta comfort). Throw on a few bangled bracelets and your favorite pair of earrings and you’ve instantly dressed up this look. Hurry and get your tunic at Anthropologie for just $78.
Chloé Plaid Tunic Top

I have a confession to make: I have always wanted to be a Chloé girl. You know, one of those romantic and carefree ‘70s-looking models from the magazine ads. They have the flowing, slightly-mussed hair, effortless feminine style, and chunky accessories. You kind of get the idea that they spend all day lounging around, whether it be at the beach, at a log cabin, or in a dark little French bistro. I truly believe that Chloé clothes can turn me into one of these fashionable beauties. This Chloé plaid tunic top is perfect for throwing on over a bikini while in a state of utter relaxation, naturally. When I wear this in my yard, sitting in my Wal-Mart lounge chair next to my blue plastic kiddie pool, wearing my stacked wooden heels and holding a killer handbag- I’ll be the perfect Chloé girl!

This huge gold and silver necklace is something that a queen would have worn to show off just how regal and extravagant she was. The beautiful three tiered pendant caused the sellers to name this 70s treasure "The Royal Necklace," because it is a true showstopper. For $56, you get limitless possibilities with this necklaces, like an ensemble with a nice short tunic and, as always, leather flats.

Rondstadt Tunic at Alternativeapparel.com - $40
You don’t need me to tell you how hot the baby doll look has become over the past year. The tragically strenuous "sexy" and revealing looks of the 90’s have given way to a much softer and much more stimulating silhouette for today’s modern girl. The baby doll look has taken over the global fashion market proving that our childhood selves may have had it right all along. Chic doesn’t have to be overtly sexual. Sweetness and modernism are in. With its high cut square neckline drawing tasteful attention to the wearer’s feminine lines and the soft flowing body of the fabric cascading freely down the torso the Rondstadt tunic is the perfect light and lovely piece this summer. Just long enough to function as a mini dress yet just short enough to double as a top this tunic is pure versatility. Need to quickly throw something cute on over that favorite pair of jeans of yours for a carefree day of shopping? This piece is perfect! Meeting up with your girlfriend’s later for a night on the town? Worn over a pair of leggings, possibly belted, this tunic dress is pure modern chic and at $40 it’s a steal! Get your credit card ready. You can take it from there.
