It was love at first sight when I spotted this Necessary Objects London Patent Tote online. The shiny patent finish takes the already eye-catching style of this handbag to another level and for only $39.99 ON SALE (hooray!), I was instantly sold. This tote, also available in bronze and red, features a fabric interior and elasticized cell phone pocket.  An interior wall zip pocket and small drop pocket are perfect for all those other loose essentials. It’s versatility at its best because this tote can easily dress up a pair of jeans or add the ‘wow’ factor to a simple dress. Indeed, Necessary Objects has made this bag very necessary.         Â

If the price is a bit too steep, Prada also made the bag in leather, called the Spazzalato Clutch and available in black, nude, and cherry for just $995. All versions come with a slick little Prada for Neiman Marcus luggage tag to commemorate the occasion, and all are definitely worthy of 100 years of fabulosity!

American Eagle Nautical Sling Tote

I have a secret weakness for American Eagle’s cheap bags. I love their little zipper totes and madras-print purses, which are always filled with lots of practical features like pockets. The purses are cute, a cinch to carry, and cheap enough to avoid buyers remorse. This new one is very nautical, which is probably why I like it so much. I like the white color, which will go with everything. The different textures keep it from being boring or tacky, and the durable fabric means that it won’t fall apart the first day I carry it.
