When Sarah Jessica Parker launched her BITTEN fashion line this summer, I thought I was losing my hearing when she announced that everything in the collection is under $20. Available exclusively at Steve and Barry’s stores, the BITTEN collection largely reflects Sarah Jessica Parker’s personal style and offers everything from jeans to suit separates. Sweaters, tops, jackets, dresses, bags, jewelry, and shoes are also part of the collection and range in size from XS-XXL in tops, 0-22 in bottoms, and 5-11 in shoes. Why did Parker name the collection BITTEN? Apparently, Parker was "bitten by the Steve and Barry’s bug" the first time she walked into a Steve and Barry’s store and her reaction subsequently became the name of the collection. I, for one, am grateful to Sarah Jessica Parker for designing a fashionable, wearable, yet affordable collection accessible to all women. Who doesn’t love a bargain? Geren Ford is one of my favorite LA Designers! After 12 years in Advertising, Geren Lockhart left to follow her life dream and start her own clothing line. ( the story of my life )  Her pieces are all so intricately designed and unique, no wonder she already has a celebrity clientele. This One Strap Top for $304.00 is great for a night on the town. Its 100% silk with a ruffle bib front, has an asymmetrical bottom hem and double spaghetti straps at the left shoulder. This top is a definite conversation piece…. and who knows maybe it will inspire you to follow your life dream as well!

Barneys brought Kate Moss’ unbelievably chic, stress-free collection for Topshop to America, and it’s pretty much amazing. Everything can just be thrown together and you’ll instantly have a chic, Miss Moss look. In fact, the more you throw it together, the more Kate-like you’ll look. Her style is probably impossible to get down perfectly, but with this Kate Moss Topshop Kaftan, you’ll come pretty darn close! It’s $120 from Barneys, and seriously perfect for going everywhere this summer. Throw it over a bikini, wear it with white jeans, or wear it alone.

Can’t seem to get yourself to wear one of Tory’s famous sequined dresses? Me neither…. I just never thought I could pull it off. But this Metallic Top from her new Fall line, I can definitely see myself in. You’ll stand out wearing this gold, sleeveless metallic top and if you look closely it has the coolest abstract print. Another great thing about it…. you can get it at Bergdorf Goodman for only $195.00!! Perfect for a night on the town!
Mac & Jac Stripe Top, With Whipped Cream and a Cherry, Please!

I don’t know what it is about the stripes on the Mac & Jac stripe top ($69 at Nordstrom), but they make me think of an old-timey soda fountain or ice cream shop. Can’t you just picture yourself sitting on a barstool on a summer afternoon, feet dangling, sharing a milkshake with a dreamy boy while wearing this shirt? You’ll look so cute he’ll probably ask you to go steady! And even if he doesn’t, well… it’s ok; you’ve still got the milkshake the cutest shirt in the place.
