Michael Kors Santorini - Print Skirt

Whenever I watch Michael Kors’ new items marching down the runways I think, “I can see myself wearing that.â€Â His styles are usually essentials that are intended to appeal to the masses. He’s most definitely dedicated to craftsmanship and classic patterns. This darling Michael Kors skirt is my new favorite summer item. It’s sensible enough to wear to the office, yet chic enough to pair with a sexy top for a dinner date. The adorable European-style print is delicate enough to be flattering on all figures, and it’s relatively affordable for a classic piece that will last a long time.
Ralph Lauren Tie Front Halter

With the Fourth of July quickly approaching, I thought I’d show one of my current favorite shirts, which just happens to be patriotic. But I like this all-American Ralph Lauren halter because it’s nautical, of course. It’s super comfy and classic, yet bright and sexy enough to make a statement when you throw it on. I am all about pairing this with a breezy white skirt and some sandals while I watch fireworks and eat snow cones in the name of Independence!
All Sails Up!

Before I go on vacation, I make sure to stop by J. Crew for some staples. During the warmer climates, J. Crew just seems to be at their prime, making great items at affordable prices. The ultra chic Cotton Anchor Skirt is one of those new items that you should own. Cast into a sea of navy cotton, the white anchor wraps itself all the way around the skirt. To make this item more casual, the designers added pockets that sit comfortably on the seam. This skirt will cost about $118.
Trend Spotter: Bows

It can be hard to be fashionable, trendy, and still look mature in the summer, because we all just want to get rid of layers of fabric and put on something that lets in the most amount of cool air. However, the best solution for this problem is to wear simple pieces that make grand statements like this Linen Bow-Back Blouse by Ports 1961. The gentle folds of the kimono front give no hint to the three dramatic bows at the back of the shirt, where the back is slightly exposed. This blouse expertly combines ladylike elegance with sexuality in this $395 ivory linen blouse, which would also work well with a brilliant skirt as a summertime wedding ensemble.
Petra Nemcova for Rampage

The Rampage store at Westfield Valley Fair was recently closed to make room for the Forever 21 meets Abercrombie spinoff, Heritage 1981 (note that if you were born in 1981, you are decidedly not 21 years old). Coincidentally, Petra Nemcova is not exactly looking her best on the Rampage website. Were the sunglasses necessary to hide a post-breakup hangover? Was this photo taken mid-sneeze? Questionable as the ad may be, I have to admit Ms. Petra is still a sexy survivor. I’m disappointed that the top is sold out, but the Baby Gingham Knee Length Skirt with Ruffled Hem is available and on sale for $27.99.
