I just discovered Blood is the New Black, and I’m totally stoked about the dope designs by featured emerging artists. These were made for your skinniest jeans and grandfather’s cardigans. Check out Gold Teef for Errbody and Thick Girls on sale from Patrick Jilbert or take advantage of various artists’ *Blind Bargain Bags* and get 5 shirts for $50.

Built by Wendy Wool Tunic

I was pleasantly surprised to see Built by Wendy’s fall line finally pop up on the web site (oh, I haven’t been checking that often …just once or twice a day). I was especially drawn to this wool tunic in burgundy, natch. We often think of tunics as being light and swingy, but this piece defies the norm and still looks fabulous. I love the textured knit of the sweater, and I can see it being worn with a belt over it or as-is. I love the illustrated look of ¾-length sleeves layered over other shirts! And plus, how about the gorgeous and talented Robin Tunney modeling the brand? Fabulous!
Mac & Jac Stripe Top, With Whipped Cream and a Cherry, Please!

I don’t know what it is about the stripes on the Mac & Jac stripe top ($69 at Nordstrom), but they make me think of an old-timey soda fountain or ice cream shop. Can’t you just picture yourself sitting on a barstool on a summer afternoon, feet dangling, sharing a milkshake with a dreamy boy while wearing this shirt? You’ll look so cute he’ll probably ask you to go steady! And even if he doesn’t, well… it’s ok; you’ve still got the milkshake the cutest shirt in the place.
