My heart skips a beat every time I think about a new season of fashion.  I go absolutely nuts for the few weeks before I can officially start wearing the fall styles, and then I settle down into a comfortable pattern of wearing my older favorites.  As usual, the must-have bag for the upcoming season is brought to us by Chloé.  Even with a new designer in its house, Chloé’s accessories are as strong as ever.  I love the red patent leather look.  This bag will brighten up any day, no matter how dreary it might be outside.   The best thing about the Heloise bag, in my humble opinion?  Lots of adorable compartments!

Mulberry isn’t just the name of "a genus of 10–16 species of deciduous trees native to warm temperate and subtropical regions of Asia, Africa and North America" as Wikipedia proclaims. Mulberry is also the name of a lovely British purveyor of leather goods that has their fair share of "it" bags, all at a very reasonable price. One of my favorites is their more classic Knightsbridge Leather Bag, just $1195 from Net-a-Porter. The shape is timeless, the leather is thick and sturdy, and the three-stud detailing ensures that you’re bag won’t fall apart on you. It’s elegant and exceptionally made and waiting for you!

A Severe Case of Anglomania

Though my torrid love affair with the subculture has long since passed, I still absolutely adore Vivienne Westwood — the witty fairy godmother and sartorial patron saint of Punk.  Hervia Limited now offers a clothing selection in addition to accessories, jewelry, bags, shoes, and even matching leashes for your man, I mean dog.  This dress in particular caught my eye.  The dramatic quasi-tropical print and the incomparable tailoring make this quite the showstopper.  Combine that with Vivienne Westwood’s limited availability in the states, and you have a dress that’s practically one of a kind!  Shopping is tax free for international orders (that meaning us in the U.S. of A), so bust out that currency converter and get shopping!

Britney Spear’s Malibu Tank

The once-pop-icon Britney Spears has been in the style rut for so long that it makes me quite happy to see her take a few baby steps in getting back on track. And this turquoise Malibu Tank made her seem like the glam celeb she once was.

When Britney was seen in this super soft, totally 80’s brightly colored wife beater style tank is onlookers buzzed about how to get their hands on one. I being one of them and after much digging it turns out clothing line Ankh Royalty designed the uber cute tank especially for Britney herself.
