Sonia Kashuk’s line for Target is exceptional for several reasons. The makeup colors are sophisticated and flirty, the scents are clean and wearable, and the prices are fantastic. New this month is the Sonia Kashuk Pink Brush Set. It’s available in Target stores for $19.99. The best part? As a breast cancer survivor herself, Sonia Kashuk is giving 100% of the proceeds benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a most worthy cause. Think pink this month!
Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

When I recently saw a commercial naming Maybelline Great Lash as America’s number one mascara, I smiled big and wide. I’ve been a Great Lash fan for ten years and counting. Impressive, seeing that I’ve spent quite some time in the makeup aisle looking for new makeup finds and taking them home to try out. I’ve switched lipsticks, foundations, and eye shadows, but I haven’t found a match for my favorite mascara pictured above. Prepare to get hooked too.

Shu Uemura and his makeup line may not flow off the tongue of many ladies like Nars or Mac, but it should. He created his first product, Unmask Cleansing Oil, in 1960; from there, he opened up his Tokyo workshop in 1983. Since then, Shu Uemura has been making fabulous makeup and skincare products. The Golden Summer Pressed Eye Shadow Palette sells for an affordable $65. This compact can help you create a great summer look with shades like pearl white, seashell pink, sand-beige, and cafe-brown.
Benefit Some Kind-A Gorgeous

I have recently discovered an incredible alternative to foundation. It’s called Some Kind-A Gorgeous, by Benefit. It’s $26 at Sephora and is also available at Bloomingdale’s and other department stores, and it is amazing. I hate wearing heavy liquid foundation, and frankly I’m usually in a hurry or even in the car when I put on my makeup, so trying to deal with a bottle of foundation while talking on my cell phone and shouting at other drivers is out of the question. Just kidding — I’m not that dangerous behind the wheel. I only do my makeup at red lights, I promise. In any case, this "sheer, oil-free, cream-to-powder complexion perfector" is a snap to apply, and no matter what your skin tone, it will most likely blend perfectly. When they say "gorgeous," they mean it. This stuff has the nicest finish, evens out skin tone, hides blemishes, and looks invisible! No one will know you’re wearing makeup, but they will notice how stunning you look.
