Another Reason for Us to be Mad About Madras

For those of you who are mad about anything madras, you should definitely be mad about A.P.C’s line of sweet summer clothing titles "Madras." The quirky team of A.P.C are giving us even more wonderful clothing to appreciate and wear daily, such as this beautiful Mexican style embroidered dress. This cute above the dress features great embroidery around the top in the front and back, along with gathers around the dress. One of the best things are the hidden pockets, that make this $216 dress perfect for summer wandering.
American Eagle Nautical Sling Tote

I have a secret weakness for American Eagle’s cheap bags. I love their little zipper totes and madras-print purses, which are always filled with lots of practical features like pockets. The purses are cute, a cinch to carry, and cheap enough to avoid buyers remorse. This new one is very nautical, which is probably why I like it so much. I like the white color, which will go with everything. The different textures keep it from being boring or tacky, and the durable fabric means that it won’t fall apart the first day I carry it.
Tommy Hilfiger Summer Dresses

I love the idea of going to the Kentucky Derby and picking out a classy summer dress to wear. Sure, I live in California so that won’t be happening any time soon, but I can still wear the dresses even if I’m not betting on horses, right?Â
Tommy Hilfiger has fun, gorgeous summer dresses for every occasion, even the ones you will realistically attend! Cocktails, weddings, brunches, and of course the odd day at the races — hey, why not? Whatever the dress code, these dresses will fit right in and turn a few heads to boot. My favorites are the Linen Halter Dress (above) for $118, the Polo Shirt Dress for $78,

and for something a little different that will stand out, yet still shout charm and class, the $118 Madras Dress. Giddy up!

Lanvin Madras Hero Bag

Stylish starlets like Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jessica Simpson have been seen around town carrying Lanvin’s sleek bags. Barneys has Lanvin’s Madras Hero Bag on sale for just $989. The chain handles are elegant, the almost-shiny black leather is amazing quality, and the zippers and quilting are just adorable! Subtle luxury is in, and this bag is definitely right on the spot!
Mad About Madras

I’m a Madras addict- bags, flip-flops, shorts, skirts, jackets, belts, you name it, I want it. Luckily, it’s everywhere this season. My favorite summer dress is naturally this adorable jumper from J. Crew that just oozes cuteness and comfort. I’m going to wear mine sightseeing on vacation, to backyard fiestas, and walks down the boardwalk.  It’s surprisingly affordable for something this timeless. The pockets only make me love it more!
