Thanks to the ladies at The Purse Forum, it’s been revealed that the Chanel Brilliant Lumiere Fluorescent Lip Gloss does in fact glow under black light! I so, so want this. It’s still available in “Mango Fluo” at Nordstrom online($25), but I believe it is limited edition for summer 2007, so order soon if you’ve got a rave (Paul Oakenfold at the Warfield tonight, anyone?) to attend.

When it’s hot out and the sun is beating down, don’t you wish it would just rain one of those wonderful summer rains, just a little bit, enough to cool you off? That’s part of the idea behind Marc Jacobs’ successful line of fragrance splashes. Each season, he brings three or so limited edition scents that evoke the smells of the season. This summer, he’s brought Orange, Amber, Cucumber, and my personal favorite, Rain, all of which aren’t direct evocations of the titular scent, but rather fresh, rich interpretations that smell oh-so-good! Marc Jacobs Rain is available from Sephora for $65, which is a steal when you realize that these are 10 oz bottles! They’re lighter than normal perfume, so Marc meant them to be splashed on quite liberally (and literally!). They’re the perfect antidote to all the less pleasant smells of summer, from smog to sweat, so do yourself a favor and get drenched!

Which is why I am totally loving Anna Sui’s limited edition T-shirts featuring sixteen different rocking designs from some of her favorite artists. This limited edition set is deliciously necessary for the summer. My favorite is the Lip Palette with 4 lip gloss shades in colors inspired by the color of Japanese organic art.
