Elizabeth & James Au Revoir Dress

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are covering all their bases. Not just satisfied with their clothing line for tweens, America’s most successful twins have gone ahead and added two new fashion lines to their repertoire. First up was The Row, a line of high-priced, super-luxe wardrobe staples that Barneys New York picked up, and now they’ve come up with Elizabeth & James. Named after their siblings, Elizabeth & James is priced at the contemporary level, a step below the designer prices of The Row. Neiman Marcus has already put the line online, offering my favorite piece, the Elizabeth & James Au Revoir Dress, for a very reasonable $360 dollars. It’s 100% silk in a gorgeous grey with lipstick detail at the bust, with a swingy silhouette that pairs great with tights. It what chic girls would pick in a New York Minute!

The celebutante / former-convict that America loves to hate has added a new title to her oh so famous name — clothing designer. The infamous blonde just debuted her new line at LA’s super-posh boutique Kitson. Hilton arrived at her grand opening looking fabulous in a gold sequined mini dress. To get Ms. Hilton’s super sexy look you don’t have to fork over a month’s rent at Valentino, the hot sequined frock is a Hilton design and can be yours for $128 at Kitson.

Rachel Roy is current queen of all that is New York pretty and chic. She’s married to a music/clothing mogul, she has an unbelievably stylish wardrobe, and her eponymous upscale fashion line is being bought up by every luxury store in the country. She’s the unapologetically girly-girl with an indescribable New York cool. She’s the new Kimora Lee Simmons, except multiply more refined. Get a piece of the action with this Rachel Roy Layla Plaited Strap Dress, $720 from Net-A-Porter. The goddess draping has a certain Sophia Kokosalaki quality to it, while the easy silhouette is very Stella McCartney. A fabulous dress for under $750? Now that is cool.

In honor of her hit song, Rihanna now has her own line of umbrellas from totes. You too can now stand under Rihanna’s umbrella for a mere sixteen bucks. The water-shielding devices are actually pretty cute, and girly, not to mention every time you open one up, you’ll probably get the catchy pop ballad stuck in your head. Get your umbrella, ella, ella here.
