Ever since the Met caught a whiff about the sale of Paul Poiret’s pre-modern designs, which subsequently resulted in the a stellar exhibition by the Costume Institute, Paul Poiret is no longer the forgotten King of Fashion. Even Forever 21 is paying homage to him in their own unique way. The Sheer Rosebud Dress is blossoming with Poiret’s signature rose. I must applaud the Forever 21 designers for doing a great job with this dress; the black and white contrasts perfectly with the shocking blue trim. What’s more, the empire waistline is accentuated by a cute and minimal bow. The best part is that it will only cost you $24.80 to your own respects.
