Sex In The City Style Coming Soon!

Oh my God. I don’t know if anyone saw last Friday’s Oprah, but there is something great coming to a store near you in early June. SJP other wise known as Sarah Jessica Parker, has created a fashionable and very affordable clothing and accessory line called, Bitten. It is called Bitten because that is the feeling she got when she decided to dive into the creative design side of the fashion industry. The best thing about SJP’s line is that every thing is under $20. This is not a joke by any means. Her line includes shoes, bags, skirts, dresses, shirts, coats, and tops. A favorite item of mine is one of her bags called, "Freak". All items are made from very great quality; so don’t be fooled by the price. SJP wanted to do the impossible and make great quality clothing, for very affordable prices. So where can Bitten be bought? Well the line will be sold exclusively at Steve & Barry’s stores nationwide, starting June 7, 2007. Simply Vera for Kohl’s

Kohl’s is teaming up with none other than Vera Wang. So many of you are fashionistas in your own right, and who knows which one of you will be the next celeb designer.

Simply Vera, as the line is called, will reflect Vera’s signature detailing like the use of tulle, roses and ruched belts. As of September, we’ll be able to hit up Kohl’s for Vera’s affordable dresses, coats, silky tops, shoes and scarves. Not surprisingly, Simply Vera will be the highest priced brand sold, but we’re talking Kohl’s here, so at prices from $30-$70 (though some select items are over $100) it will certainly not break the bank!

If Vera’s Fall collection is any indication of what’s to come at Kohl’s, we can’t wait!

Donna Karan Coatdress: Love It or Hate It?

Ok, I can pull off a shirtdress, but a coatdress? This Donna Karan Stretch Crepe Georgette Belted Coatdress, $2,595 is definitely a unique creation. The model looks like she’s swimming in it, no? This is a tough one as I’d have to see it on someone other than a model. I’m thinking if it was worn with a tighter fit, it might look good. What do you all think?
