Alex and Ani

Founder and designer Carolyn Rafaelian created Alex and Ani, "as a vehicle to enhance human consciousness." Named after her two daughters, her line of spiritual and socially conscious jewelry, has a cool downtown edge with an ethnic element.  I love so many of her pieces I couldn’t write just about one… so here are two.  Her signature expandable bracelets like the one above are inspired by Jim Morrison. This Lifetime of Luck bracelet is only $43.00 and was created with recycled metal scraps.  Below from her Free Bird collection is this gorgeous Jade and Peacock Feather Necklace.
