Exclusive Sale at Saks Fifth Avenue: 30% to 40% Off
Posted on May 29, 2007 at 3:30 pm (PST) | Comments OffFans of Saks Fifth Avenue have been pretty lucky these past month. Not only will the flag-ship store be expanded to reach an entire floor, shoppers will be able to benefit from an online sale of designer clothes for both men and women.
And the sale is indeed generous. The Black Label Victorian Lace Blouse by Ralph Lauren is priced at $278.90, marked down from $698.00. The pants are available, too, for the price of $194.90. If this isn’t a bargain, I don’t know what is. For all of the shoppers that are unable to make a purchase online today, or just prefer seeing the clothes in person before making a purchase, the sale is extended to stores on May 30th. But make note, clothing this sought-after is bound to run out of stock soon. Buy your future outfit today!
FabFind Top 5: Summer Party Dresses ——> Today: Ella Moss
Posted on May 29, 2007 at 1:54 pm (PST) | Comments Off
Memorial Day has come and gone, and it is now officially-unofficially Summer! If you’re anything like me, you’re thinking about the next big bash lined up on your social calendar and/or eagerly awaiting your July issue of Lucky magazine for tips on the best dresses to wear with your new (bottle, I hope) tan. This week, I will be posting my 5 Favorite Summer Party Dresses to help you ( who am I kidding, and me) be au courant on the hottest styles your favorite designers are offering up this season.
First up: ELLA MOSS Black Label ‘Margot Dress’ (Shown here in Color : Petal/Red/Black) $272 at Revolveclothing.com
Immediately, it makes me think of a yummy parfait. But this 100% silk dress, which stands its appropriate middle ground between ‘babydoll’ and ‘tarty chemise’, is one of those precious wardrobe pieces I wouldn’t let near food. So this won’t be a BBQ staple, think more high-rise-terrace-party. And need I mention your wine choice for the evening will only and always be white? No one wants unsightly stains on their dress OR their lips… but I’m sure you already knew this.Â
Madison Marcus Zest Black Tunic

Nicole Richie was wearing this Madison Marcus’ Zest Tunic, $215, while out with her then-boyfriend Joel Madden. I love the curlicue detailing at the neck and how she wore it over mini cutoff jean shorts. What a sexy peek-a-boo effect! If you don’t want to pay over $200 to look like Nicole, there is another option!

This Ella Moss’ Alexandria Cami, $82, is quite similar, especially because of the criss-cross neck pattern. Sure, the detailing is not exactly the same, but for less than half the price, it’s worth it. Plus, it’s Ella Moss Black Label and that in itself is fab!
