Southern Comfort

Being a southern girl myself, I have had my fill of "sweet little sundresses" for that perfect Sunday brunch. Afterall, there is somewhat of a hipster dress code in L.A. But after I spied this white hot BCBG Max Azaria Babydoll dress (from their private collection), I think I have changed my ways. It has me so hot and bothered that I am talking in my southern drawl again. So listen ya'll, the dress is precious and "honey, you will not regret the purchase!!"
This BCBG Max Azaria Cotton Voile Tier Babydoll number is available for $280, and is finely detailed with white and goldstone beads that dot a gorgeously scalloped, lace-trimmed dress. Also styled with an Empire waist and cascading layers of eyelet lace. Simply slips over the head with an attached slipdress underneath with adjustable straps. Even better is the sassy fit, form-fitting at the bust and easy-fitting at the hip.
Personally, I think it not so easy to combine sexy and sweet, but this is the perfect mixture. I love how BCBG always has a bit of an edge to its always classic and feminine designs.
I can almost picture my modern day Rhett Butler at the staircase, and frankly, Scarlet, He will give a damn!
Betsey Johnson Brown Halter Bikini: Love It or Hate It?

It’s nearly time to hit the beach, and there’s a lot of fabulous swim wear to choose from. This Betsey Johnson ’Chocolate Kiss’ Halter Bikini, $160, however, is not so much. The hot pink sculpted roses make the otherwise-pretty chocolate brown bikini hideous. The roses, along with the gold beads and embossed hearts, are just too much. Plus, I feel like they would dig into your skin if you were laying on your tummy sunbathing. Do you agree?
