Devi Kroell for Target

Words cannot express how excited I was when I heard Target tapped Devi Kroell to be their newest accessory designer. Devi is a renowned luxury designer, known for her use of exotic skins such as python. Recently honored for her accessories at the CFDA Awards her oversized metallic python bags were a big hit in Hollywood. Although for her Target collection she’s used faux materials, they still have that same supple look as her high end collection. Pieces range from small evening clutches to totes and hobos and will range from $19.99 to $49.99. These bags will be sold for a limited time at most stores and at Target.com, July 15 through September 30. They are gorgeous and well done and I cant wait to get my hands on them!

Diamonds are Forever…
Posted on June 15, 2007 at 12:54 pm (PST) | Comments OffHoly cow, this isn’t a ring, this is a small multifaceted orb with an off-center hole in which one may, theoretically, slip their finger.

I don’t even know where to begin.
H. Stern certainly isn’t one for understatement, but this piece not only crosses the line, it circles the globe and crosses it again.
Besides being completely encrusted in diamonds, the mount design itself cleverly mimics the round cut of the gems. 18-karat white gold and 4.6 total carat weight in diamonds make this the one Power Ring to rule them all. Granted, the sheer ostentation of this fantastic little ditty necessitates that you wear absolutely nothing else (I’m talking about jewelry), but this one ring will probably be taking "protection money" from all your other accessories anyway. At 19,000 clams, this beauty is worth more than all of Bedrock. Wear this and take sadistic pleasure in the fact that your finger is now worth more than a number of small countries. Ah, diamonds and schadenfreude — what can compare?
A Severe Case of Anglomania

Though my torrid love affair with the subculture has long since passed, I still absolutely adore Vivienne Westwood — the witty fairy godmother and sartorial patron saint of Punk. Hervia Limited now offers a clothing selection in addition to accessories, jewelry, bags, shoes, and even matching leashes for your man, I mean dog. This dress in particular caught my eye. The dramatic quasi-tropical print and the incomparable tailoring make this quite the showstopper. Combine that with Vivienne Westwood’s limited availability in the states, and you have a dress that’s practically one of a kind! Shopping is tax free for international orders (that meaning us in the U.S. of A), so bust out that currency converter and get shopping!
