I've been wary of purchasing even the cutest products from Paul Frank Industries since their major expansion and the subsequent forced removal/voluntary resignation of Paul Frank the man from the company. I have, however, chosen to break my silence in order to discuss the Swiss Glamour Camping Kit collaboration with Urban Decay. The kit is limited to 750 worldwide and includes a pair of hand made and individually numbered, summer-essential sunglasses in cream with silver trim; more than $125 in Urban Decay Cosmetics (if my calculations are correct, exactly $134); and a travel bag in what appears to be the signature Paul Frank vinyl with detachable mirror, hard sunglasses case, various makeup compartments and slots, and a hook for hanging. For $299, it's a much more affordable way to get your hands on a limited product than attempting to score a Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag or even the limited edition Coach Straw Basket. Do you feel that Paul Frank was wronged, or is this perfect for my road trip to Vancouver?
