Chloe Beach Dress

What with my being LA-based, I have a certain penchant for elegant, billowy beach dresses.  This dress is the quintessential foundation for creating all sorts of summer outfits — glam it up or hippy it out with whatever accessories strike your fancy.  There’s nothing quite like frolicking across the sands dressed like a free-spirited beach Lolita.  Just remember to pack some pepper spray in your tote should any Humberts make unwanted advances.  Speaking of which…

Corto Moltedo Shopper

Okay, okay, so this tote isn’t particularly understated or so-hip-it-hurts, but I’ll be damned if it isn’t absolutely adorable!  I’m usually not a big fan of monograms or conspicuous designer labels (yuck), but the retro font practically melts into the background as your eyes go straight to the similarly melting ice cream cone motif.  It’s cute, functional, and almost ironic.  This is probably the closest most fashionistas are going to get to actually consuming ice cream this season (or any season hereafter).
