With IMDb reporting the status of the Sex and the City movie as “filming,” I think it’s safe for fangirls to start sporting the horseshoe and nameplate necklaces made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker and Patricia Field. I like the Arena CPH golden Horseshoe Pendant Necklace on sale at Saks for $129.90 (was $237) and the Alex & Chloe “Blonde” and “Brunette” necklaces at UO (”Redhead” is available on the official Alex & Chloe site). Jewelry designer Dominique Cohen, whose designs can be found at Saks and Neimans, has an affordable new line for Target. Though she seems to favor rose and yellow gold for her luxe line, I’m loving the dark tough girl chains and Victorian ribbons with hard edged bows and knotted pearls. My pick is for the Cameo Post Earrings available for $29.99 -the scalloped edges remind me of the Nickelodeon Splat and make the cameos pop.

I took a break from reading Harry Potter (my dad left my copy in a corner, in a box, under stuff and expected me to find it on my own) to look for sick costume jewelry at Frankey’s and was not disappointed. The Kenneth Jay Lane Black Arm Necklace is ridiculously inexpensive at $27 (mispriced?) and totally unique if you’re sick of rocking those ubiquitous gun charm necklaces that are turning into the angel wing earrings of summer ‘07.
