chanel Chanel Brilliant Lumiere Fluorescent Lip Gloss

Thanks to the ladies at The Purse Forum, it’s been revealed that the Chanel Brilliant Lumiere Fluorescent Lip Gloss does in fact glow under black light! I so, so want this. It’s still available in “Mango Fluo” at Nordstrom online($25), but I believe it is limited edition for summer 2007, so order soon if you’ve got a rave (Paul Oakenfold at the Warfield tonight, anyone?) to attend.

maybelline-mascara Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

When I recently saw a commercial naming Maybelline Great Lash as America’s number one mascara, I smiled big and wide.  I’ve been a Great Lash fan for ten years and counting.  Impressive, seeing that I’ve spent quite some time in the makeup aisle looking for new makeup finds and taking them home to try out.  I’ve switched lipsticks, foundations, and eye shadows, but I haven’t found a match for my favorite mascara pictured above.  Prepare to get hooked too.

Bright Eye-deas–Dr. Perricone Eye Area Therapy

If only we could choose what we inherit from our parents, the world would look even brighter—and so would my eyes. As far back as I can remember, I have battled with under eye circles, and unless I smoked out my eyes so that a veil of pigment detracted attention away from the dark rings under my eyes, I’d get the, “You look tired;” and, “did you sleep well?” Contrary to what many people think, other factors besides stress and sleep deprivation can cause under eye circles. Poor blood circulation and hyperpigmentation, which are often hereditary conditions, can also cause skin under the eye to take on a bluish-tint. Luckily, there are treatments that can help and that don’t necessarily have to involve surgery. I’ve been a longtime fan of Dr. Perricone’s Eye Area Therapy with NTP Complex and DMAE ($50; at Sephora). This super emollient hydrating cream contains Alpha Lipoic Acid, a powerful antioxidant, and overtime, significantly reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. With frequent use, I have seen a remarkable difference. Dark circles are not nearly as obvious, skin is tighter and the puffiness underneath my eyes has diminished completely.  This stuff really works—and keeps those unjustified tired comments at bay.

Fuller Lips in a Swipe: Lip Fusion

cachedimageservice1 Fuller Lips in a Swipe: Lip Fusion

I used to believe that biting my lips would make them bigger; I desperately wanted to have bodacious lips like Angelina Jolie’s. Having tried a many lip plumper, I could hardly contain my excitement when I discovered LipFusion Micro-Injected Collagen Lip Plumper ($38; at fusionbeauty.com). These instant plumpers are a godsend for anyone with small, thin lips—no Botox injection needed. Apply a generous coat of one of these sweet scented glosses and prepare to be wowed by a bigger, fuller and more defined pout. It’s worth mentioning, too, that with these lip enhancers there is none of the stinging sensation associated with many other plumpers.  Whoever said, “No pain no gain,” never tried these brilliant, painless plumpers by LipFusion.
