The younger Miss Hilton is proving that she is a fashion force to be reckoned with.  Paris’ younger sister Nicky has been designing for a while and has really hit her stride with her two newest collections.  Her designs are flirty, fun, and so wearable.  Hilton has two lines, the everyday-wear Chick, and the higher-end Nicholai.  Her white Chick sundress with pale blue accents will make your days so much more fun and her tangerine Nicholai cocktail dress will have you stopping traffic at night.  Don’t just take my word for it — view the rest of her Chick and Nicholai collections for yourself.

Go Bra-less!

vs Go Bra-less!

Everyone knows Victoria’s Secret equals sexy, and their new sundress is no exception.  This comfy creation is the best sort of sexy, the understated, ooo I just rolled out of bed looking this fabulous, kind.  The $38.00 sundress comes in six sunny colors and fits women sized 0-18.  The best part — the dress is double-lined and features a built-in bra, which means you won’t have to worry about finagling an always uncomfortable strapless bra, and you absolutely cannot see through it so no one will ever know that you’re going commando.  To see the rest of VS’s fashions that just scream smart and sexy, visit their web site and when you see their flawless models just try to hope there was a lot of airbrushing involved.

This super stunning dress was created by Hanah Kim.  Hanah Kim is not a fashion designer and her dress is not made of the usual trimmings of taffeta and lace.  Kim is just a regular — way talented — woman who created a dress out of toilet paper!  Kim won first place in a contest hosted by CheapChicWeddings.com.  Contestants were asked to design wedding gowns entirely out of toilet paper.  Kim won $500.00 and  her design will be made into a real gown — hopefully in a more luxurious material than TP. To see some more unbelievably chic bathroom-inspired creations — go to  CheapChicWeddings.com.

Marchesa at Fashion Week

marches Marchesa at Fashion Week

Mirror mirror on the wall, whose the most chic of them all?  The answer is any modern day princess lucky enough to be wearing this fierce twist on a fantasy fairytale gown.  The dream dress is a new creation from Marchesa’s fall line and made its debut at the designer’s New York Fashion Week show.  The bold black and white layers of tulle and feathers are certainly not for the damsel in distress type.  This dress should be reserved for all of you fabulous modern princesses who slay the dragons yourself, and still manage to make it to cardio boxing, and land the corner office with the killer view.  The best part is . . . no Prince Charming required!  This gem is just a small part of Marchesa’s knockout fall collection which can be viewed in entirety at their website.  You can purchase other Marchesa creations at Neiman Marcus.

vanitas VANITAS OF CALIFORNIA Red Floral Dress

According to the People Style Watch Poll, Nicole Richie’s look is a miss; but I think the floral Vanitas shift is a total hit. Milk has the red silk dress in every size for $255, and Maneater Threads has the print in a kimono cut ($280) if you’re thinking of covering up for fall.
