Lindsay Lohan was the face of Miu Miu last season, and that turned out to be one of Miuccia Prada’s most loved collections for Prada’s little sister label. This coming fall, look for Lindsay Lohan as the new face of Jill Stuart, the unapologetically feminine line that’s got you covered from head to toe. The whole line is filled with pieces that can be worn by anyone. A sorority sister may wear a frilly little cardigan over a sweet plaid dress to a benefit tea luncheon, while a downtown Jill Stuart girl could mix the same dress with a leather jacket. It’s all about the mix for Jill Stuart, which is why Lindsay Lohan may be perfect for showing off the edgy sweetness (or maybe sweet edginess?) that this season is all about. Fall Colors

Traditionally, when fall rolls around we see a shift from the summer pastels into a richer color pallet. The fall runways are often dominated by bold earth tones and other shades that match the leaves on the trees. When I looked at the Chloe runway show for the upcoming season, I found the looks dominated by Halloween orange and black. I like the cheeriness of the pumpkin-hue, but it did make me wonder how I could pull it off without looking like I’m permanently ready for October 31st. I was pleased to see mini-skirts still dominating; there’s nothing more depressing than covering up a tan you worked so hard to cultivate all summer long!
Prada Gaufre Clutch - New Trend Alert

The new "Day Clutch" was all the rage during the Fall runway shows. Everyone, including Prada, Marc Jacobs, and Salvatore Ferragamo showed clutches in monstrous sizes. These bigger versions of the stylish evening clutch are big enough to hold all your worldly belongings, and if your like me you need to be able to carry everything around in your purse. This Prada Gaufre Clutch is huge… and I mean huge. It measures at 11 1/5″H x 15 1/5″W….. Could be a little hard to hold on to. Doesn’t seem to be a concern of most fashionistas’ - Neiman Marcus took pre-orders of this Prada clutch and are no longer doing so due to the high demand. Keep your eye open for these come Fall!
Roberto Cavalli for H&M!

The king of animal prints and slit-to-there dresses, Roberto Cavalli, is going to be the next guest designer for H&M! I’m extremely excited! H&M’s past collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, and Viktor & Rolf were all stunning and completely enviable. I have no doubt that Cavalli’s line will be equally amazing and successful!
Jimmy Choo’s New Fragrance

Who isn’t a fan of Jimmy Choo’s irresistible pumps, heels, flats, and boots? Or of their best-selling Ramona bag and Troy clutch? Jimmy Choo just seems to everything right, and I’m hoping their upcoming fragrance will be no exception. Tamara Mellon, the current brains of the brand, has just announced a Jimmy Choo fragrance launch for Spring 2009. I know I can’t wait to smell what those accessory geniuses come up with!
