Juicy Couture Swimwear: Love It or Hate It?

I really like these bikinis by Juicy Couture. These are the Beach Tennis Halter Bra Top and Classic Bottom (each piece $75 at Bloomingdale’s) and the Beach Tennis Stripe Halter Bra Top and Tie Bottom (each piece $70).

 But there’s a catch… turn around and you’ve got "Juicy" written across your butt. 

There’s something about wearing the label on the outside that cheapens clothing, I think. There’s a lot to be said for letting the design speak for itself. I love these bikinis from the front, but I won’t buy one because I think the back ruins them. What do you think?

All Eye(let)s on You

Summer always brings the dress fetishist out of me, and this delicious little Diane vonFerstenberg just sends my stomach into somersaults and backflips.  More often than not, anything eyelet looks like it was made out of a pillowcase; thankfully, this dress is an exception to that rule.  Ooh, look at that tonal striped trim!  So cute!  Pick it up for a cool $495 at Neiman Marcus, or wherever else one can make pragmatic wardrobe investments.
