Bottega Veneta’s Fabulous Fashion Makeover

Bottega Veneta has made its mark in fashion history. The company, originally founded in 1960, prided itself in producing exclusive men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, small leather goods, and home items. However, since the label merged with the Gucci Group in 2001, the Venetian house managed to break into the accessory market, which was dominated by bigger brands. At the same time, Bottega Veneta managed to set itself apart from the pack, never placing either a logo or brand on their products, but those who are in the know can recognize their signature braided leather handbags a mile away. The limited edition Sac Tresse is one of the luxurious items creative director Tomas Maier has crafted with the technique. Made out of a soft buttery lizard leather with classic features like adjustable handles, antique brass hardware and leather lining, the Sac Tresse is an instant showstopper. Don’t think about the $7800 price tag! Only think about the heads that will roll as you whisk through the airport to your favorite summertime destination.
